LISC Hall of Fame – Peter Hewat

Peter Hewat was born in March 1978 in Inverell, New South Wales.

In Australia, Peter played for the Waratahs and represented Australia and 7s, U21 and A levels.

Peter joined London Irish in 2007 and spent 3 seasons with the Exiles. He made 78 appearances for us, scoring a total of 491 points.

 

 

 

Peter was part of the team that reached the Heineken Cup Semi-Final in 2008, and he opened the scoring in the 2009 Premiership Final with a long range drop goal in the first minute.

Peter left London Irish in 2010 and joined Suntory Sungoliath in Japan. After 3 seasons playing Peter moved into a coaching role.
