The 2016-17 brings new challenges and new adventures as we prepare for a season in the Greene King IPA Championship.

The following information and pages, we hope, will help London Irish supporters with their planning for the season ahead.
Details are not yet complete – we plan to have these pages completed as soon as possible.

TV Coverage
The current TV deal between SKY and the RFU includes “A minimum of 11 Greene King IPA Championship games”.

Championship Teams

British & Irish Cup
London Irish have been drawn in Pool C of the British and Irish Cup alongside Cornish Pirates, Ospreys Premiership Select and Connacht Eagles.

We visit the Ospreys in round 1 of the competition – the match will be played at The Gnoll, Neath on Saturday 15th October, 2:30pm.
For round 2 Connacht Eagles visit the Madejski on Saturday 22nd October, 3:00pm.

Rounds 3 & 4 are back to back matches against the Cornish Pirates – Sunday 11th December, 3:00pm at the Madejski and Sunday 18th December, 2:30pm at Mennaye Field (Note: kick off for the match in Cornwall is now listed as 2:30pm).

Round 5 sees us travel to Connacht Eagles – the match is scheduled for Saturday 14th January 2017 at Dubarry Park, Athlone, 2:30pm
And we finish the pool stage with the Ospreys Premiership Select visiting the Madejski on Saturday 21st January, 3:00pm.

We have a home quarter final against Yorkshire Carnegie scheduled for the weekend of 11th/12th March.

There does not appear to be a dedicated website for this competition.
